This is how it's done. First bait is caught (mullet), then it's put on these hand lines and we wait. When the line moves or you hear a splash in the water, the line's pulled in and there's a barra on the end!! Sound easy??? It is when Andrew takes us to the right spot, at the right time of day, with the right equipment. The barra didn't start biting 'til dark, so we had the fire so we could see what we were doing and see if any crocs were getting too close!
